Doubt is my demon
it pulls on me
and I'm supposed to know
to figure out
keep searching
I have to
we all do
and we do
along the way
we act like we're not
but we're searching
explorers
tryng to find each other
while the universe is expanding
and we're drifting apart
after we're far, far, far away
then we'll explode in another bang
drawn like a magnet
to implode
and start life anew
and the genius of it awes me
and the truth of it saddens me
leaves me alone
the drifting
post my lifetime
the climax won't happen until after I'm dead
